I stumbled upon AVON by accident and I never looked back. As a man doing AVON, I do get: “Wow, you’re a man and you do AVON?” and I always say: “Yes, I’m an AVON man” with pride. Being with a great team called Dawn’s Dream Team means I am able to have more time with family, get the things I want and the support is one of the best I have seen. “I joined AVON because I was facing a voluntary redundancy within a government department and I was looking for something I could sink my teeth into and get a challenge out of after graduating in October 2017 with a leadership and management degree. Joining AVON was the best decision I have ever made. I approached my soon-to-be upline, Rachael Shellis, and that was it, I became a Representative. Being a part of Dawn’s Dream Team has been an amazing experience. I have been extremely lucky to have found such a successful team, where we all pull together to help each other out, and have made such good friends. I always struggled in a normal working environment when it come to gaining friends and have a chat over a coffee and have a meet up. They were just work colleagues at the end of the day. I soon came to realise that Dawn’s Dream Team wasn’t like that. Dawn’s Dream Team gave me the boost and confidence to achieve my goals, actually meet new friends and have a chat over a coffee etc. I am so thankful to my team :). I joined AVON when I started my training to be a mental health nurse. Doing AVON gave me the flexibility needed to complete my nursing degree and earn some much-needed extra cash! I was able to choose the hours I worked around my study and placements and advertise my business from the comfort of my own home in my pyjamas and a cup of tea. I also met some amazing people along the way and helped me build confidence! I still do AVON now I’m a qualified nurse and it fits perfectly around my busy schedule.
